Are you lip-syncing?  Absolutely not!  Each song is meticulously chosen and its timbre and pitch studied to create a specific resonance that ensures the rich and melodious sound for which Two For The Road has become known.

 

How much is your fee?   While distance to event, specific services, time and other factors may have a bearing on the final agreement, some general pricing guidelines are available.  Singing services during the wedding cocktail & dinner hour are $600.  Entertainment/D.J.'ing for the entire evening is $1200. 

 

How much of a deposit do you require?  $50 for a cocktail and dinner hour.  $100 for an entire evening.

 

When do I have to pay the balance?  The balance must be paid prior to or on the day of event, prior to services being rendered.

 

 

Is the deposit refundable?  The deposit shows your intent to have Two For The Road perform.  As such, other business will be turned away for your particular date.  Therefore, the deposit is not refundable.

 

What is included in the cocktail and dinner hour service?  Two live singers performing roughly 30-35 songs. We bring our laptop and microphones (with back-up) and connect to your D.J.'s sound system.

 

What is included in the entire evening service?  Our total evening package offers you live stage singing, Las Vegas style interactive entertainment with your guests and D.J.'ing services.  The entire evening package includes:

 

  1. - Live Stage singing.
  2. - Comedic Bantering.
  3. - Engaging personalities that interact with your guests.
  4. - D.J. selections of favorite wedding music, as well as your personal choices.
  5. - M.C.'s for the evening.  We make all announcements and move the party along.
  6. - 2-3 hours of set-up and tear down.
  7. - 1 consultation meeting where we will develop the agenda for your wedding.
  8. - Review of a 5 page questionnaire to make certain everything is done as you have dreamed.
  9. - Two 18" LBJ speakers, Two 15" Peavy speakers.  Two wireless & Two wired microphones, 7 channel --- Peavy mixer with backup, Dell computer with backup, Superscope PSD300 Dual Drive CD player/recorder[*].
  10. - Entire lighting show.  Two Chavet 1500 State Wash lights, 10ft Truss system with Two Aseroid Mini -- Linedancers, one 12" mirro ball, Four ATDSCO E-135 effect lights, One ATDSCO Double Derby effects light[†].

 

How many songs do you have?  Two For The Road has a portfolio of several thousand songs.  However, for a typical wedding reception of 6-7 hours, you'll need about 90 to 105 songs.  We dedicate ourselves behind the scenes to make certain the songs played at your wedding are songs you desire.  After your booking we gather information on the type of music and genre you want played, including specific songs for special dances, such as the first dance, bridal party dance, father/daughter dance, etc. 

 

How long have you been in business?  Two For The Road was established in the summer of 2005 as a singing duo, and DJ services were added in 2006.  Independently, Brian and Vince have been involved in singing and entertainment for over 25 years. 

 

Where have you performed?  Since its inception in 2005 Two For The Road has performed at a variety of public establishments and private events, with standing engagements at Andiamo's Italia, Rosie O'Grady's Irish Pub, and the Mt. Clemens Recreation Bowl.  We were headline entertainment at the Mt. Clemens American Legion, the Mirage Banquet Center's 2007 Valentines Day extravaganza, and will be performing at the City of Novi's Village Theater on February 14, 2008.  In addition, we have provided entertainment for numerous private events including weddings, birthdays, retirement parties, anniversaries, reunions, family functions and fund raisers.

 

How far will you travel?  Two For The Road serves all of metro Detroit.  Areas outside of Metro Detroit will be accommodated and considered in the final quote.

 

Can I contact one of your past clients?  We understand that your entertainment decision is the most important decision you'll make in planning your event.  Sometimes it is helpful to have that added reassurance that only a reference can provide.  We want to help, and would be happy to provide you with our reference list.

 

I'd like to see you in action.  We will be happy to include you on our mailing list for upcoming public events.  In the event we have no public events scheduled, you may be able to attend one of our private performances.  Please contact us to make arrangements.

 

Can we have special announcements?  Yes, the entire evening is tailored and managed to your specifications.

 

How late can we make changes? i.e. songs, sequence of events, etc...  Two For The Road prides itself on its flexibility.  We can, and have, made changes "on the fly". 

 

My family has a certain tradition.  Will you accommodate us?  Two For The Road prides itself on its flexibility.  Its your event and we want it to be perfect.  Anything you want done will be discussed during our consultation meeting and part of your wedding agenda.

 

Can I bring certain cultural music that I would like played?  Yes.  You can either provide the music before or during the reception.  Songs must be provided on a CD and in a generally accepted format.  No guarantee is made on playability of privately recorded CDs.

 

What kind of songs do you sing?  Two For The Road sings songs from a variety of genres, including songs from the American song book, Motown, Easy Rock, Easy Listening, Country and Oldies.  Click here to view our complete repertoire.

 

What kind of songs do you have in your D.J. portfolio?  Our D.J. portfolio consists of music from all genres.  We have all the most popular wedding music, including the most requested wedding songs.  Our personal consultation session guarantees we'll have the music you want, no matter how rare, culturally specific or unique your tastes.

 

I think you guys are terrific, but I have to speak with my fiancé/mother/father/friend.  Can you hold a date for me?  Your entertainment decision is going to be the most import decision you make for your event, and we want you to be completely happy with your selection of Two For The Road.  If you need to speak with another party before making the entertainment decision, we will "pencil" you into our calendar.  What this means is that we will not give the date to another party without trying to contact you first.  If you still want the date, then a deposit will be required within 48 hours.  Once deposit is received, we turn away all business for your date.
